college neither rocks nor sucks. it's like highschool... just a different.

    Update 06.26

i need that^. really. there are so many things i need need need to buy. i need to buy a few pair of pants (slacks for school, and denim for moi!) i need to buy as much dangling earrings because i need to spruce my uniform up. you know that i dont experience fashion items shortage that much, but u do know that i dont think dangling earings enhance anything in relation to my X-factor (whatever that is). i mean, it really is the prettiest uniform in all the university, our uniform, but it needs sprucing up. i need huge bags with a diverse dimension inside it. imagine a shoulder bag which could fit a 15" by 19" illustration board inside. plus a few boxes containing all the unreasonably pricey tech pens, mech pencils, and brushes made out of unicorn hair. you know what i mean.

there's a big difference between the people i hang out with currently from the people i used to be with. i mean i can't exactly call them friends YET, simultaneous luncheons doesn't assure that.

my former barkada makes me feel pretty. they make me feel prim, refined, and superior. we dine in places and shop for clothes we can barely afford. we aim for perfection. we aim for the best and most superficially top-notch things. by the end of the day, my pocket's empty but i feel reallly pretty and classy and sophisticated and expensive and EVERYTHING.

but these people im with now, they make me feel like i dont need to be pretty. they dont care if half of what im wearing are imitation. we eat at karinderyas. AND I SAVE A LOT! we argue who haggles the best. we aim for the best bargains, price and quality alike. they dont know the people i know, though. by the end of the day, my pocket's JUST FINE i feel really kaboy, astig, witty and EVERYTHING!

the conversation. well, i can't say it's the same really. there are so many things i can't talk to them about that im used to discussing with sobs. except for louise, of course, who seems to be in the same 'circle' as i am. but i dont mind not being able to talk about the ever so famous hotties of ateneo, lasalle, and hollywood. i'm much happier without it!! i'm barely interested with these guys. i dont have to KNOW them,i can just stare at them. that's more than enough for me!

im more than prepared for this. there's no culture shock. i expected things to be a lot wilder in college really, but having friends that are not at all daring is fine fine fine with me.

you know what scares me. sobs, well i love them and all. i should've known ages ago that i can live without them.

almost everything's temporary. if not everything, that is. before i even entered college, i knew that attachment to anything college-related is foolish.

    on Flirts

how do you know if someone's q flirt.

with respect to my observations, i have made a list of which will help one distinguish flirts. this may be to your convenience.

    1. the first people he gets along with are girls. not boys.
    2. have him know that you like him (even if you dont), and he's suddenly be a lot friendlier to you.
    3. he's a normally sweet person
    4. big difference between his treatment to boys and girls
    5. big difference between treatment to prettier girls and normal girls
    6. 80% of texts are from the girls
    7. he gives you these:

    Update 06.15

luckily, i haven't bargained my writing skills for better advertising skills yet. will i ever? i hope not. and as my course has very little use of writing, i only have my blog, diaries, planners, and made up books to vent my unused writing energies into.

hon said The Deviltry Of Sweet-tooth is good. i'm not over that yet. The deviltry is the first novelette i've actually finished. i'd be writing another one soon.

but first. i need to focus on college. i want to get in the dean's list. i'll do anything to get in.

i guess i made a bad impression on Wilfredo, my lettering prof. i have to fix that next wed.

i have friends again. thank goodness for that. well, acquaintances at the very least. the good thing about AD2 is that there are no bitches or assholes. it's too early to judge, but i dont think i'll get in an argument anytime soon. please please please no arguments!! :( we'd be enduring each other for four years! i want a good relationship with everyone.

i've been texting everyone i love lately: pau and lalz makes the top of the list. i have to update with everyone else someday.

what a lame post this turned out to be.

The Girl na nagshorts nung firstday

i take back how i said college sucks, because to tell you the truth, college does rock. (pun not intended!) well, i have no idea how long college rocking can last. i mean, it is just the first week, and chances are the profs are cutting us some slack. i mean we are stupidly innocent freshies, are we not?

before every subject, the whole block prays unsimultaneously that the professor isn't a terror. so far, the Supreme Being conforms with our prayers. probably as his peace offering for his stingy-ness in gracing us with beautiful male beings.

to every cloud a sliver lining: though no inspiration may struck us through the day, there won't be any distractions either. our eyes wont be darting from side to side, checking on our male specie of choice.

people have familiarized theirselves with me by use of the title "nagshorts nung first day". when the casual girls only introduction took place after Freehand (the most laid-back subject in the history of the planet):

anonymous1: have you been absent yesterday. i didn't catch you?
me: um...no. i've been perfectly present.
    anonymous2: siya ung nakashort
anonymous1: oh that was you! you should've told me earlier!

i can't wait to blend in the crowd again. i stand out because i haven't my uniform yet. and it's due on the second week of july. WHAT-THE!!??!?!? i'd be the girl who wore shorts on the first dat for three more weeks? is there no consideration left for the likes of me?!?!? how fucking unfair is that!?!

by the way. hon loves The Deviltry of Sweet-tooth. hurrah for me! i wouldn't mind if he loves the book better than he does me. i'd actually be thankful for that.

    And so college

    college is boring.

i finally become college, but i bore myself with it. what do i expect ba? it is the first day. ang boring. boring, boring, boring. but new and different.

by the way, my new book is out. courtesy of own-labor publishing house:

contact me at: caidzete@yahoo.com if you want a copy. then i'll think about it. chances are you wont get one, though.

    excerpt:

    Chapter Nine:

...I got used to never going through farewells. I don’t think they are only waste of time, but I believe them to be unnecessary. Goodbyes are just compulsory to each being’s vanity. Something to relieve the guilt of leaving characters who are unready for your departure. It is my principle, however, to move on forward and never look back. Dwelling in the past is a mistake most make, an obstacle to their success...

that part might be lame, but i dont want to give anything out, you know. and really, you won't get one.

there's a chance that summer could be a little great. probably not the greatest. but i blew that chance by being very passive and weak willed.

summer's over in a few days. i'm not very hopeful. i've learned not to be expectant. besides, reality-ly speaking ('realitily'??? is there such a word???!!), it's too late.

On Anime`, Computer Games and the such

this is another blog layout: bottledfart00.blogspot i made for my sister who's celebrating her birthday today. hooray for her.

summer's such a bore, as always. well, mostly always. i look around and everyone my my age are looking forward the same thing: college.

some are anxious, the others are afraid, the rest excited. i dont know exactly where to categorize myself. probably getween the anxious annd excited. i can't wait to get to know new people and attempt to adjust to a new environment.

so there's nothing to write down really. everything's monotonous. everything. i haven't gone out for almost a week. boring, i tell you.

okay. i'm going to make a statement!
in reference with my planner as of June 6 2006 (oooh...the mythical 666!):

"I'm making my NEXT boyfriend sign a contract saying our relationship is void once he involves himself in drugs, freakshows, clans and COMPUTER GAMES!!

    FUCK COMPUTER GAMES!

whoever invented it deserves eternal blistering in HELL!!"

and yes, those are my exact words. no offense to those who like these things. i know i must keep an open mind about it. right?

FUCK OPEN MIND! they're gross!!! it's tasteless and it's such a waste of time. i've read a post before about an almost normal person ranting abour how anime-loving people (or 'freaks' as i'd rather have them called) aren't that bad. i agree, actually. generally, they're nice people. nice anime-loving people freaks.

bad thing most artisitic guys like anime. eew.

    on Music and on Crushes

the past few days, i've been ACTUALLY been listening to music. i'm not that much of a music enthuiast as you must all know. my limewire usage is maximized big time. in two days and a half i've downloaded around a hundred of songs.

my favorite would definitely by natalie cole and garbage. garbage sounds like a louder and trashier version of the corrs. or maybe not. to each her own opinion. it's an opinion, by definition it's neither right or wrong. natalie cole's like semi-ancient jazz or something. i like natalie's Orange Colored Sky and garbage's I'm Only Happy When It Rains. i strongly suggest it to everyone.

so anyway, i've been thinking lately, how many crushes i've had in my life. jotting them down is a risky business. who cares?! let me give you a breakdown.:

(format: period ; name ; insignificant infos or anything )

. majority of my childhood ; kuya vincent ; we used to write graffitis on a red wall using kamias fruit. i don't expect anyone to be familiar with such fruit, but kamias is his very sour green thing the size of paolo's thumb.

. kindergarten ; richard ; he kissed me on the cheeks when we acted out this snow white stint in kindergarten. according to my mom, after school that day, i began liking school. my exact words: "ang sarap pala pumasok sa school".

. first grade ; william ; he had curly hair and fair complexion. he lend me his thick black pencil, which made me realize how cute and nice he is.

.second grade ; he who must not be named ; from what i heard, he's gay now. we were constanty fighting and competing. but to no avail, he's cute. although, i still can't believe i ever liked him.

. " ; adrian (everyone knows i like him, what's to be ashamed off?) ; smart and funny and cute and responsible and nice and.... i could just go on forever. the crush never did fade away, though.

. sixth grade ; must remain anonymous ; he's not very cute. he isn't very nice either. i definitely regret crushing on him. gross! but i did help him with my kabarkada.

. " ; must remain anonymous ; shared the crush with pau. he's cute in a chinito way. last i've heard about him is he's serving the church.

    ---highschool--

i lost track because i adored so many guys when highschool came. here are the most mentionable ones:

. he who must remain nameless ; information must remain confidential

    . kuya 1 ; long lashes.

    . kuya 2 ; flirty bastard!

    . kuya 3 ; didn't like him that much.

    .

i give up. why do i even bother writing these down.

    Cat In The Box

the title's like a fusion between alice in wonderland's cat-in-the-hat and the passe yet intriguing jack-in-a-box

whatever, right? Cat-In-The-Hat is my sanity back-up once i fall out off love with this Undilluted Vanity theme (which is still quite impressive). as most of you would know by now, my sanity is founded in blogging. i am, indeed, a self-confessed blog-addict. what's not to like, right? i love to write (even if i'm not THAT good at it...yet) and i like artistic stuff and i like digital technology. fine, i'll spare you my excuses. what can i do, i love blogging.

not that it matters to the world, though. i mean, whose life can i change with blogging? seriously? mine. well, aside from wasting my time and "cultivating my skills, literary-wise, photoshop-wise, and css-wise" it hasn't anything worth mentioning to anyone.

that would mean, i'm wasting my time. and i'm tiring myself senselessly. if you must know, i look positively hideous at the moment. (isn't that oxymorinic: positively hideous?) my eyebags hang from my face, puffed up and dark. i have a camp of pimples taking it's dwelling on my forehead, especially between my eyes, and i feel drained.

i need rest. but i'm still writing. i have to sleep. it's 1:09. last time, i slept at 7 and woke up when lunch was ready. am i punishing myself. gawd, stop bitch, forgive yourself. and the best way to forgive is to finally type the last sentence.

    ReIntroduction

as an evidence of my attempts in starting a new life, i will now reintroduce myself.

although unsafe (accdg to parent-imposed regulation decree1737829), i will not hesitate in admitting more-than-accurate information about my nonfictional self in this entry.

to begin with, i'm a sixteen-and-a-half-year-old aspiring writer (or call me a writer-wanna-be--poteyto, potahto) who considers this so-called blog as an instrument in bettering my skills (though there are none, really). it is a dream to get published by the time im 17, however impossible that is at the moment.

i'm an incoming college freshman and am very much bothered by the thought of being in the bottom of the food-chain again. the preys of predator bullying.

aside from writing, i feel the almost similar extatic urge in shopping and other fashion-involved activity, e.g. dressing up. (though writing is obviously less pricey.) i'm an impulsive yet wise shopaholic who appreciates tiangges in greenhills and divi, prefer semi-branded clothing stores (f&h, bayo, espirit), loves top-notch of philippine fashion of mango and topshop, and wishes to purchase items from prada, LV and the like one day when im what i aim to be, a successful, highly-paid, street-smart, eloquent, bossy bitch!

i dont watch tv and listen to music as much as typical teenager should. i prefer wasting my time on other things like.... anything else.

if i had been fortunate to sport a statuesque built, i would've defintely tried modeling. dream on, right? haha. but i'd love ramping down the catwalk in flowy threads and etc., with bright-yet-gloomy lighting and techno-aura-ed music and a-little-too-cold-on-my-skin temperature and critics scribbling down their o-so-gravitational 'comments and suggestions' in a pad.

im a hard-core feminist by the way, believing that women should be better appreciated!

i was molded by one of the most satisfactory and bonded barkada in school. (unfortunately, it proved to be not so tight in the end of highschool era.) according to them i am a sensible-joking witty fashionista who speaks up for petty things (human rights, edsa revolution, friendship, family and religous beliefs or disbeliefs) ever so often. they complain, however, of my temperament and my inability to shut my mouth when i ought to. that's what they think, and i bet they stand to be corrected.

my family is composed of: a mom and a dad (who are still so obsessively in love with each other. as if they still are in their courting stage); a sister who loves anime too much which lead to her abnormality of acting and thinking as if she is an anime, too; another sister who is clueless of what is to become of her and would most likely to become the family favorite; and me, the different one who spends and parties too much (that according to their standard of what a normal teenager should be). i'm usually teased as the orphaned one because of being different from them. that hurts most of the time, actually, especially now that i'm thinking about it.

my boyfriend, after a year of complicated courtship, dislikes me for being not-demure-enough but aside from that, he loves me all the same and believe me to be perfect--for him, atleast. and i love you too, sweetie! ;p (yeah, i'm sure you read my blog regularly). my parents are scared of him. fine, not scared. rather, their petrified of him! i wish julia goes out with a gangster anime goth maniac, so that they'll see how very much a nice guy he is... no matter how horny. :* kidding aside, he's nice and loving and is the sweetest thing that has ever happened to me.

the words he'd describe me the best: "complicated". who am i to differ??

the best books i've ever read all my life, aside from three infamous j.k. rowling and dan brown books, are: "Sloppy Firsts" and "Second Helpings" by Megan McCafferty, "Shanghai Baby" by Wei Hui, and "Mirror Mirror" by Gregory Maguire. ooh, i like "Memoirs of The Geisha" too, EVEN BEFORE IT WAS TURNED INTO A MOVIE!

so far, i am not very much enjoying summer, i hate the manner by which i graduated, anf i cant wait to jump into bed with the aircon on full blast and read, or write, or begin another historical sunrise talk.
