my dad is talking with his painter at this very moment. he's (the painter) is saying that only rich people get cancer. maybe its in the expensive food they eat. good point. no one in the squatter's area gets cancer. they all die from, tubercolosis, starvation, hmm, whatever. oh yeah, and murder.
dad: "cancer yata dumidikit sa pera e"
painter: laughs. "oo yata e."
dad: "ganto nalang, bigay ko lahat ng pera ko sayo"
painter: "tas ano? ako magkakacancer." laughs again. poor people keeps on laughing too.
dad: "sabi siguro niya (referring to papa lord almight), 'ah may pera ka ah! bigyan kaya kita ng matinding sakit? may pangpagamot ka naman e'."
ughhh this is supposed to be ironically amusing. how did it end up sounding so cynical. snort.

my guy bestfriend, bry, is taking psych in PUP. AND I DONT KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO HIM IN OUR SIX MONTHS OR SO OF NOT TALKING, BUT HE'S TURNED INTO THIS TO THE EXTREMES PHILANTROPIST!
i can very much remember him saying na gusto niya yumaman para makasama ang mga pilay sa birthday niya!
he also said na ibang saya ung nararamdaman nia pag nakikita nia sila kumakain ng nakangiti. "kapuspalad" sila, pero kumakain sila ng nakangiti.
more so, i asked him if this is the happiest he'e ever been in his life and he replies: "mas sasaya ako kung masasama ko ang mga kabarkada ko sa gantong pamumuhay."

oh well, he is happy. i know that im a miserable person in the outside but am all hearts in the inside, but i cant beat him now, can i? i mean i cant even step in the vicinity of a palengke without cringing! i can not believe he's nicer than i am now.
shooot. i got him for a bestfriend because its fun to have someone as stone-hearted as i am to be with. someone who's all hearts in the inside too. and he's way more frank than i am.
