a little fact to accept:
so many things that are important to you arent nearly half as important as they are to other people.
...
yup yup.. so its my birthday today. I AM OF LEGAL AGE! I AM NOW IMPRISONABLE!!! (does the term exist?!) my birthday isnt half as good as i expected it, but thanky thanky papa lord, it isnt half as bad as my past birthdays were.
as avid readers must know by now, i've been a consistent victim of "bad birthdays". the best so far was my 16th.. and well, my actual 18th was very simple and, of course, fun in so many ways. but still.
this one of the reasons why im moving my debut on the 8th.. sep1 generally sucks for me. probably because, as usual, i expect too much. every little possible clue that barely insists a surprise, i notice. then i end up being disappointed because: no, my friends arent miraculously coming over and there is no bouquet of flowers outside my door when i wake up.
birthdays are always the best excuse, well after being in love that is. you have more righteousness to do crazy things when its your birthday, you're in love, and you're drunk or high (both of which arent decent excuses at all). birthdays are overrated, especially mine, and whatever bitterness i feel, it is all my fault.
unless i learn to NOT EXPECT (which is such a feat for me on regular days, more so on birthdays!), i will never be happy.
