the reasons why im poor
1. i spend on the luxuries i cant really afford. the definition of "afford" does not confine merely to the ability to pay such amount. it means having the right to shell out the said amount without troubling the rest of the budget.
2. i have this "its now or never" perception on stuff. if i dont buy this dress now, tomorrow it'll be gone gone gone. when actually i really must think "if its not there tomorrow its not meant to be". so, in other words, parang din panglalaki ang shopping.
3. im a sucker for bargains. even if i know the fabric isnt really of good quality and that it'll just expand once washed or maybe its a little too big for me, since it costs more or less 200php or because its pretty cheap for a mango apparel, i buy it.. or even three of it!
4. my hands get all idle knowing ive still got a lot of change in my pocket. and i wont stop looking until i finished everything to the last penny!
5. i give in to the curse called "must-have". i cant stop looking, oggling, and drooling over magazines. im very ingitera too.
6. i can not live without a mall. and i love dressing up.
7. i look at spenditures by the hundreds. im not much into those tiny details called centavos. and i forget the other bills, like school stuff, and monthly loads and everything of the category.
8. i simply like soo much stuff! i love the books, notebooks, clothes, shoes, accesories, drinks, pastries.. everything!
why im not dead of poverty yet
1. i dont waste too much money on food. i have no artistic appreciation for good food. when it comes to real meal, not deserts or anything, i love karinderyas the mostest most! warm, homecooked food, with a lot if tlc and extra strands of hair in it!
2. i AM good at bargains. i know that haggling does not work too much anymore. plus the fact that im always dressed up. but sales makes me go gaga!
3. i know what i want. if its not in the right color i think twice.
4. i can pretend i dont like the item while im in the store.. only to gush about its prettyness when i step out.
5. i appreciate the cheap stuff too.. as long as they're vintage-y and uncommon!
6. even if i hate it, i do commute. ive saved a fortune even if i go home really tired and in a bad mood. atleast ive got new stuff. :D
7. i have the endurance to check the whole mall out till i find what i want! its hard to believe, but im not too impulsive!
8. this is the major rule: "do not buy anything unless you're in love with it." i fall really easily.. but liking something is not equal to loving it. :D
