assholic parental antics
my dad just cut the landline extension to my room.
"why!?!??"
"because."
wow! that explains a lot, huh?
i can not contemplate sensible reasons why they'll take from me my already limited internet accessibility. and now i have to blog with this lap top in the messy, scary and uninspiring environment called the library beside my 5-year-old 14k pc which is in the peek of 'paghihingalo' because it has been gobbled up by virus for the seventy-eighth time already. oh please! the temptation to smash the monitor with the keyboard (both of which are far from properly functioning), even if i did share wonderful high-technological memories with it, is becoming very overwhelming!.
why did my dad have to take it away?? is it because i have been spending 90% of the time in my room instead of the usual 75% when i discovered that i can ever so easily sneak the laptop in my room? well that's true, but it isn't sensible. is it because having the freedom to surf at night is liek giving me the freedom to watch porn? oh puh-leez! right, that's actually a very parent-like reason, but can they not see that i am not like that? and dear readers, fuck off, you know that im not! is it because they fear that i might be chattin up some guy at night? is it because the electricity will go up? is it because their saving me from my addiction to late-night-till-dawn phone marathons?! ugh! whatever!!!
these are the real-life assholic parental gestures which produces a child that holds grudges. and i will hold this grudge until i finish college, get a job, and have kids. they've taken from me the liberty of being well-connected. (okay so it's a bit exagerated, but im still pissed off!)
